Shangri-la Mustangs

When we started our mustang herd, we just wanted mares. But, Elu stood out. He was handsome, strong and reminded me of Primo, a show morgan. His mane is blue-black in color, and his coat is dark brown with light tan accents. We were seriously considering leaving him as a stallion because of his beauty and gental personality. The only problem was with 7 mares, he would have to stay separate from the herd, which was not fair to him.

Elu means Full of Grace. He has a natural-extended gate holds his head high. Elu is gentle, loving and giving. He is Trish's favorite. Elu was born in the spring of 2002. He's 13 1/2 hands and growing.

He would be best with someone who loves to pamper him and nuzzle with him. He loves to give kisses and is great with other horses.

Elu would be stunning in a show or on the trail. When excited he holds his tail straight up in the air and prances about. These pictures do not show his true beauty or personality. He must be seen to truly appreciated.
