Shangri-la Mustangs

When Jim saw Chenoa, he liked her build: a solid Quarterhorse as a yearling with a strong neck, shapely body and powerful legs. Plus, she was a beauty. We were extremely fortunate when we adopted our mustangs. It was right after the fall roundup, and we had over 40 yearlings to pick from.

We started with four mustangs, and went back for four more. Chenoa was the first pick of the second group. Her pictures don't do her justice.

Chenoa means White Dove. She is small like a "dove" and agile.

Chenoa lifts her feet, ties and trailers. She is a pleasure to walk. She is a small girl, but she is extremely fast and loves to run.

Chenoa also has characteristics of a Spanish Bard. She is petite and fast.

Chenoa would make a greate cutting horse, rodeo or pleasure. She loved to chase our buffalo and usually initiates playtime with the other Mustangs.
Chenoa would make a great childs horse. She is extremely gentle and loves to be handled (pictured with Elu and Winona).

Chenoa's preference is to to be with us over the herd. Also, she is not an Alpha female, but is the favorite of Elu's who protects her.
